This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage in cutting-edge cardiovascular research while gaining valuable clinical experience in EP in a tertiary hospital setting. The successful candidate will work closely with the Cardiology Research Team, contributing to both clinical and translational research projects aimed at improving patient outcomes. Imaging and Echocardiography The successful candidate will undergo extensive training in echocardiography including transthoracic, transoesophageal, stress echocardiography, structural guidance echocardiography, contrast echocardiography and CTCA Interventional Cardiology The Interventional Cardiology Service includes two dedicated cardiac catheter laboratories which undertake over 900 coronary interventional procedures (250 STEMIs) annually. It provides a 24/7 service for primary PCI for acute ST elevation myocardial infarction for the region. A structural heart disease program developed with TAVI, PFO/ASD, TEER, LAAO performed. We have a strong reliance on adjunct therapies such as IVUS, OCT, FFR, Shockwave and Rotablation. An initial contract will be issued for a one‑year period, with any further employment subject to relevant training requirements and progression.
