For our Procurement Category Management team in Madrid , we are looking for a Category Lead - Digital Solutions who will report into the Category Manager Global Technology. In this role, you will handle assigned sub-categories, acting as a subject matter expert. Demonstrating an eye for business opportunities, you will provide critical thinking to assure, protect and build value for PMI. Your day-to-day : Be a trend setter and the a subject matter expert in SaaS & IT services related products , developing and deploying Global Strategic Procurement plans by interacting with key collaborators, analysing category data and metrics to drive and deliver end-to-end category management practices in line with overall functional strategies. Develop and deploy global and regional strategies by engaging and building relationships with internal cross-functional partners, external suppliers and industry experts. Adhere to current processes and recommend improvements to standard processes, focusing on cost optimisation, quality, and service levels. Manage high-cost contracts and vendors on a global level, ensuring service reliability, supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives are met. Who we're looking for: BS/BA degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related topics Native or fluent speaking in English (minimum C1) 5-7 years of experience in procurement of IT & Digital Services, or account management/sales in a IT specialized multinational Deep understanding of pricing and pricing models in different global geographies/markets Bid-management experience & contracting experience (including KPI setting and measurement) Strategic thinking, strong analytical skills and fantastic negotiation skills What we offer: Our success depends on the talented people who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
