A Day in the Life •Leads production teamwork process, equipment testing, manufacturing, disassembly, and reassembly as assigned by supervisor. •Prioritizes use of operators according to build schedule. •Communicates process issues and provides status updates to team supervisor. •Coach's operators/assemblers on production and problem-solving skills, performing technical review and machinery setup/breakdown as needed. • Ensures Medtronic com quality and safety standards are upheld. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations. Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions. Sets initial layouts, and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s). Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires advanced knowledge of manufacturing or supply chain operational procedures, systems, and tools gained through experience and/or relevant training, education, or certifications. Requires 5+ years of related experience, which may include a combination of practical experience and applicable training, education, or certification. No minimum education requirement. Nice to Have: Experience with MES, ERP, or manufacturing systems Background in digital manufacturing or automation Lean Six Sigma or project management experience Experience in regulated industries such as Medical Device or Pharma Strong data analytics and reporting skills Experience leading cross-functional teams Familiarity with change management and continuous improvement Bilingual communication skills For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
