WE’RE HIRING | GENERAL DIRECTOR

📍 Tijuana, Baja California / San Diego

A leading commercial and distribution company is seeking a General Director with strong experience leading end-to-end operations within trading, wholesale, distribution, and supply chain organizations.

We are looking for a strategic, results-driven executive with a strong business mindset and proven experience in domestic purchasing and imports, capable of driving commercial growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Lead the overall business operation, aligning Commercial, Purchasing, Logistics, Administration, and Technology to ensure sustainable growth, profitability, and continued market expansion.

REQUIRED PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.

• MBA or Master’s degree in Senior Management or Finance preferred.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in senior management or executive positions within commercial or distribution companies.

• Advanced English proficiency.

• Willingness to travel.

• Willingness to relocate to Tijuana.

Proven experience in:

• Wholesale and semi-wholesale markets

• Distribution and logistics

• Purchasing and imports

• Multichannel commercial development

• Strategic and operational planning

• Opening new branches or distribution centers (CEDIS)

• ERP, CRM, and business analytics tools

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the company’s overall operations and ensure achievement of strategic and financial objectives.

• Develop and implement commercial strategies across wholesale, semi-wholesale, traditional, and foodservice channels.

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Credit & Collections, Administration, and IT.

• Oversee domestic purchasing and import strategies, including negotiations with international suppliers and cost optimization.

• Ensure effective demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and supply.

• Drive commercial expansion, including the opening of new branches and distribution centers.

• Analyze key business KPIs, profitability, margins, and pricing.

• Strengthen relationships with key customers and strategic suppliers.

• Lead transformation, continuous improvement, and operational digitalization initiatives.

• Ensure efficient logistics and distribution operations.
