Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI) is situated on Foresterhill Campus overlooking the modern, busy city of Aberdeen and the beautiful North Sea. Aberdeen and adjoining Aberdeenshire offer an excellent balance between urban and rural living. Royal Deeside, Cairngorm National Park and the North Coast 500 are easily accessible for staycation opportunities. Aberdeen International airport is in close location, allowing easy access to the UK, Europe and beyond.

ARI is a Major Trauma and ECMO referral centre and services remote locations including the North Sea oil and gas offshore industry. We are also currently investing and expanding our robotics programme, including Urology, Thoracic, ENT, Gynaecology and General Surgery.

We are currently seeking the best in Perioperative talent for Band 5 Staff Nurse/ODP positions within our Emergency Theatre team. Applicants with a dynamic, enthusiastic approach, combined with a passion for learning should apply. With a comprehensive on boarding programme, you’ll be supported by our friendly, highly experienced multidisciplinary team.

We value applicants who hold a portfolio of perioperative experience across the continuum of scrub and anaesthetics (however both are not essential) and that have a proven record of good attendance. Your career trajectory is supported by our dedicated team in the Theatre Academy. The post will have a requirement to be part of a day/night rotation as the emergency theatres operates as a 24 hour service.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
