Civil Works Site Manager

Job Description Summary Responsible for activities related to the construction, building and commissioning on customer site, from site mobilization, through civil, erection and commissioning work, as well as management activities related to this scope. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.). Job Description Key Responsibilities Individuals who site off-site but support or manage construction and commissioning activities. They may manage or support teams of people covering the full range of DAWs within the family. Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college or Diploma in civil works (Engineering/Architectural/Civil or equivalent) 8 years' experience in Civil Works construction site activities (in HV substation business) Prior Civil Works experience in UAE of HV substations civil aspect or international Knowledge of scheduling and subcontractor management in CW building field Capacity to work in international context Good oral/written communication skills in English Knowledge of NOC, COC and all permit processes in UAE Computer literate (Excel, MS Project) Desired Characteristics Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. ability to works under pressure with same good performance accepted to work/ mobilized within any part of UAE and/or abroad. capable to works for multitask on the same time with same good performance Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes
