Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital is seeking a
Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to join our highly respected surgical team in beautiful Vero Beach, Florida. This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of one of the nation's premier healthcare systems while practicing in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
As a member of Cleveland Clinic's Digestive Disease Institute, you will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional surgical care across a broad spectrum of general surgery. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build a busy practice while working alongside experienced surgeons and specialists in a growing regional health system.
Ideal Candidate
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in upper GI and abdominal wall surgery, including hernia repair and esophageal/gastric procedures strongly preferred.
- Experience with minimally invasive and robotic surgery is highly desirable.
- Fellowship training is welcomed but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to multidisciplinary, team-based care.
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient-centered surgical care.

Practice Focus & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general surgical care within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Perform minimally invasive and robotic surgical procedures as appropriate.
- Collaborate with gastroenterology, oncology, radiology, pathology, advanced practice providers, and other specialties to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient surgical care and contribute to the continued growth of the surgical program.
