Please be aware that trainees are not permitted to repeat training for the purposes of taking up a CL post, and trainees are not permitted to start at a grade that is not advertised. As an example, if a post is advertised at ST3 grade, then a current ST3 trainee who is on track to become an ST4 trainee at the post start date would NOT, under any circumstances, be permitted to take up the CL post at ST3 grade, as this would entail repeating training that has already been completed.
