The Closure & Interim Measures (C&IM) organization performs the regulatory and technical work necessary to achieve tank farm closure. We develop the regulatory documents that support RCRA closure and corrective action, DOE Order 435.1 performance assessments, Tri Party Agreement milestones, and interim measures that protect the environment from past tank releases. Our work includes soil and groundwater contamination assessments, vadose zone characterization, development of Closure Plans and RFI/CMS documents, barrier projects, and coordination with DOE and regulatory agencies.
We are expanding our team and seeking an early to mid career Closure Regulatory Professional who is eager to grow into a regulatory subject-matter role while supporting major closure and corrective-action deliverables.
You will work at the forefront of one of the nation's most important environmental cleanup missions as part of a supportive team of scientists, engineers, and regulatory specialists. You will gain hands-on experience with regulatory processes central to site closure and contribute directly to protecting the environment and advancing long-term cleanup solutions.
The successful candidate will support C&IM regulatory strategy and document development efforts that guide tank farm closure. This role is ideal for someone who understands environmental data and regulatory frameworks and wants to develop deeper expertise in RCRA corrective action and site closure.
