What You’ll Get Annual salary of $110,000 to $140,000 based on experience Senior and lead estimators with strong subcontractor relationships may be eligible for compensation up to $150,000 Performance bonus opportunities based on successful bids and project margins Full-time, in-person position located in Louisville, Kentucky Flexible scheduling options Paid time off Health insurance with up to a 50% employer contribution Signing bonus available and negotiable based on experience Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates Typical relocation packages range from $2,500 to $3,000 and may be adjusted based on individual relocation needs Open to qualified candidates across the United States who are willing to relocate to Louisville, Kentucky Opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of a respected commercial construction company Why Estimators Choose This Role Work closely with company leadership and contribute to important preconstruction decisions Take ownership of estimating from project review through bid submission Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors throughout the estimating process Help shape project budgets, scopes, and competitive bid strategies Join a team that values precision, accountability, and long-term career development Build and strengthen relationships within the Louisville commercial construction market What You’ll Do Prepare detailed estimates for commercial construction projects Review project plans, specifications, bid documents, and project scopes Complete quantity takeoffs and perform cost analysis Develop accurate estimates using PlanSwift and Bluebeam Request, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing Partner with project managers to establish and manage project budgets Review contracts, change orders, and project scopes to confirm cost accuracy Maintain organized estimating files and bid documentation Identify potential commercial construction opportunities Visit project sites as needed to support estimating activities This position is based in Louisville, Kentucky What You Need 5 to 10 years of construction industry experience with commercial estimating experience Experience estimating hotel remodels, renovations, brand conversions, or ground-up hotel construction projects is highly preferred Strong background in hotel and hospitality construction is highly preferred Proficiency with PlanSwift is required Experience using Bluebeam is preferred Strong knowledge of quantity takeoffs, bidding, cost analysis, and commercial construction methods Ability to manage multiple estimates, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Knowledge of the Louisville subcontractor market is a plus Field construction experience is a plus Hiring Process Apply today Quick phone screen Interview with the team Discuss your estimating experience, goals, and next steps Mora Construction Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
