On behalf of our client, a company specializing in the development and manufacture of next-generation advanced materials , we are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Director to architect the company’s international growth roadmap and shape the future trajectory. The role encompasses identifying, structuring and converting long-term strategic opportunities into sustainable revenue streams. This position can be based in Cyprus, or remote within Europe . Strategic Responsibilities Define and execute a 3–5 year Business Development Strategy aligned with technology roadmap Conduct structured market and opportunity mapping Prioritize industrial verticals and geographic markets Implement and manage CRM-driven pipeline governance Lead high-level negotiations (MoUs, framework agreements, long-cycle contracts) Build and manage strategic industrial partnerships Oversee key accounts Contribute commercial input to EU/defence-funded projects Report structured KPIs to CEO and Board Expected Deliverables Multi-year qualified revenue pipeline Signed strategic industrial agreements Defined go-to-market strategies Quarterly Board-level commercial reporting Required Profile Mechanical, Chemical or Materials Engineering degree + MBA or similar postgraduate qualification. Minimum 10 years of commercial experience in industrial sectors (aerospace, defence, marine, advanced manufacturing) across the EU or international markets.
