Commis Chef

We are recruiting for the role of Commis Chef to join our Kitchen Team. If you love working as part of a tight knit team, and relish the challenge of a buzzing environment then this role is for you.

This is a full-time position.

The main duties will include:

Prepare mis-en-place for all relevant menus.

Prepare, cook and present food to hotel standards, including staff meals.

Ensure correct portion control as instructed by Head Chef.

Prepare all dishes as instructed by Head Chef, Sous Chef and/or Junior Sous Chef.

To operate and clean equipment correctly and safely adhering to cleaning and maintenance schedules.

Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe and tidy at all times.

The ideal candidate:

Warm, positive personality with genuine interest in culinary

Team player and also willing to use own initiative when needed
