Commissioning Engineer Automation (Maritime)

Focus Engineering is currently looking for Commissioning Engineers Automation for our client in the Maritime sector in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

This concerns vacancies to become permanently employed at our client. For these roles you have to live in the Netherlands or be willing to relocate to the Netherlands.

Our client is looking for multiple Commissioning Engineers with expertise in the field of automation engineering. In these positions you will be travelling up to 50% of your time to customers worldwide. The remaining 50% of your time will be spent at customers within the Netherlands or in the office.

The job:

• You are responsible for testing and commissioning of PLC/SCADA systems.
• You are responsible for preparing the projects and providing reports.
• You will be working with drives and / or propulsion systems.
• You will perform modifications and troubleshooting.
• You will provide service and trainings to customers on site.

Who are you?

• You must be willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
• You need to have an EU-passport.
• You have relevant working experience as Commissioning Engineer, specifically with a background in Automation (PLC/SCADA).
• In general we are looking for Engineers that are willing and interested to travel to customer sites (inter)nationally and perform multidisciplinary working activities (electrical and control systems PLC/SCADA).
