  • Relevant academic or professional qualification combined with 2–5+ years of hands-on Compensation experience, ideally in an international or EMEA environment
  • Strong expertise across core Compensation processes, including job evaluation, salary structures, pay bands, market pricing, benchmarking, and the annual compensation cycle
  • Solid understanding of pay transparency and gender pay topics, with the ability to translate requirements into practical solutions
  • Proven experience in leading projects end-to-end, from defining objectives and planning through implementation and stakeholder communication
  • A highly proactive and self-driven mindset, with the ability to take ownership of topics and move them forward with minimal guidance
  • Strong analytical and data-driven skills, combined with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and senior stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to advise and challenge senior leaders and regional stakeholders
  • Strong SAP knowledge and experience working with compensation systems and data; hands-on experience with Mercer surveys, methodologies, and tools is a strong advantage
  • Fluent English is required; The preferred location is our EU headquarters in Hamburg, but other locations within the EMEA region may also be considered
