JOB TITLE: Consultant Critical Care Physician - UAE LOCATION: UAE EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time SECTOR: Healthcare / Hospital / Medical Group ABOUT THE ROLE A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its high-acuity ICU, organ support, and multidisciplinary critical care services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Critical Care Physician to join its growing clinical team. ROLE OVERVIEW The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals, respiratory therapists, and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead the management of critically ill medical, surgical, trauma, and postoperative patients in the ICU. • Provide advanced organ support including mechanical ventilation, haemodynamic management, renal support coordination, and sepsis care. • Perform critical care procedures such as airway management, central venous access, and invasive monitoring according to clinical privileges. • Coordinate multidisciplinary rounds with consultants, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, and allied health teams. • Support family communication, goals-of-care discussions, and ethical decision-making in complex critical care situations. • Contribute to ICU protocols, infection prevention, clinical audits, simulation training, and quality improvement initiatives.
