Salary: $80,600–$10,000+ 15% Target Bonus

Position Overview

We're seeking a hands-on Controls Engineer to support and optimize automation systems within a highly automated manufacturing environment. This role will lead controls projects, improve equipment reliability, troubleshoot plant automation systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, HMI, and automation systems.
• Lead controls and capital automation projects from concept through commissioning.
• Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and production efficiency.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to identify and solve manufacturing challenges.
• Support automation upgrades, system modernization, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of industrial controls engineering experience.
• Required: Strong experience with SCADA Ignition (Vision & Perspective).
• PLC programming experience (Rockwell/Logix preferred).
• Experience in manufacturing or highly automated production environments.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, industrial networking, and troubleshooting.
