Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cook/Chef role based in Parramatta, NSW. The Cook/Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard, following recipes and food presentation guidelines, and ensuring consistency in taste and quality. Day-to-day tasks include organizing the kitchen workstation, managing stock and ingredients, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, and supporting menu planning and specials.

Qualifications

• Professional cooking skills, including experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen, with good time management and organizational skills.
• Experience collaborating with kitchen and front-of-house teams, with clear and respectful communication.
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certificates (e.g., commercial cookery) and prior experience in a restaurant or café setting.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality food and service.
