Join Our Federal Healthcare Team


Paradigm Professional Health Services is seeking an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist to support the Indian Health Service at the Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility in Belcourt, North Dakota.

This is a federally awarded healthcare assignment with an initial 13-week commitment. We can discuss extensions based on mutual agreement and continued contract performance.

This opportunity is ideal for a technologist who wants a predictable travel schedule, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to support essential healthcare services for Native American communities.

Estimated Compensation


$5,800–$6,800+ per completed two-week rotation

Each rotation consists of seven consecutive 12-hour shifts, totalling 84 working hours, followed by seven consecutive days off.

Depending on eligibility and assignment terms, the compensation package may include:

Schedule


  • Seven consecutive days on
  • Seven consecutive days off
  • Twelve-hour shifts
  • 84 hours per two-week rotation
  • Evening and overnight shifts
  • Weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled

Responsibilities


The CT/X-Ray Technologist will:

  • Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and imaging protocols.
  • Perform general diagnostic radiography procedures.
  • Administer contrast media in accordance with facility protocols.
  • Operate CT and digital radiography equipment.
  • Prioritize emergency and trauma imaging requests.
  • Position patients safely and accurately.
  • Explain procedures and provide compassionate patient care.
  • Maintain complete and accurate imaging documentation.
  • Perform equipment quality-control procedures.
  • Participate in departmental quality-assurance activities.
  • Follow all applicable IHS, Joint Commission, OSHA, HIPAA, radiation-safety, and infection-control requirements.

Minimum Qualifications


Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

  • Advanced CT certification through ARRT or NMTCB; or
  • State licensure permitting diagnostic CT, with documented CT training; or
  • ARRT registration and certification in Radiography, with documented CT training; or
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology, with documented CT training.

Candidates must also have:

  • Current BLS certification
  • At least six months of CT experience
  • Experience performing both CT and general diagnostic radiography
  • Compliance with applicable ARRT continuing-education requirements
  • Ability to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays during the scheduled rotation

Preferred Experience


  • Hospital-based CT
  • Emergency or trauma imaging
  • Rural or critical-access healthcare
  • Indian Health Service or Tribal healthcare
  • GE or Siemens CT equipment
  • PACS and RIS systems
