You'll guide customers through their journey, from technical sales support to hands-on onboarding, project management, and customer success. This is a unique opportunity to learn a complex B2B product in great depth, build long-term customer relationships, contribute to sales processes, work closely with our engineers, and join a team as it scales rapidly. You will report directly to a co-founder/CEO. Why Are We Hiring This Role? We grew our customer count 18x YoY. We're closing and onboarding 5–8 new customers per week, and we simply can't manage this pace going forward with our current headcount. By hiring a dedicated person in this role, we will expand our capacity to run more sales demos and onboard more customers in a shorter period. This will enable us to sign more customers faster and remove a constraint holding us back from hitting our aggressive growth goals this year. Responsibilities Customer Discovery Work with Sales to qualify opportunities, acting as a technical expert: Lead discovery and product demos with prospects and guide them through how the product works. Answer technical questions and position the product in the context of their systems. Qualify fit, identify blockers, and advise on implementation details. Create customer-facing collateral, such as videos and product FAQs. Maintain and update demo materials for teams to use in pre-sales. Customer Onboarding Own customer onboardings end-to-end alongside other teammates: Lead customers from sales handoff to full implementation efficiently, working with them 1:1. Be their primary point of contact and assume full accountability for their onboarding. Understand their goals and configure the product to meet their specific needs. Train customers on how to use the product, including integrating their data, performing common actions, and handling edge cases. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for implementation best practices and FAQs. Build strong customer relationships and long-term loyalty. Identify churn risks and upsell opportunities. Project Management Project-manage each customer's implementation while managing many at once: Create and share detailed implementation plans, timelines, milestones, open issues, and remaining steps. Troubleshoot issues that arise, working with Product and Engineering if new features are needed. Proactively identify and escalate implementation risks and work with company leadership to solve them. Identify feedback, requests, and weak areas of the product and share them with the team to help drive the product roadmap. Work with external partners, such as sales partners, resellers, and consultants, to align onboarding timelines across parties and systems. Process Improvement Build tooling, templates, and automation to scale onboarding across hundreds of customers: Understand variations in current processes and identify key gaps that hinder onboarding. Create a standardized and scalable process that works for hundreds of customers. Create customer education materials, such as demo videos, to reduce manual effort. Work with Product and Engineering to build features that improve customer onboarding. Define, own, and improve internal tracking mechanisms and KPIs for customer onboarding timelines. About the Company We're building a financial operations platform for construction, a roughly $12T global industry still heavily dependent on software built decades ago, much of it on-premise with limited APIs and documentation. After several years building the infrastructure needed to read and write across these systems, we now use it to deploy AI across workflows including invoicing, expenses, compliance, billing, and more. Today, we have 500+ customers and have been profitable and cash-flow positive for more than two years . The company has approximately 40 employees and is based in San Francisco. We recently raised a $15M Series A led by a leading venture capital firm , bringing total funding to more than $20M . The company raised from a position of strength, with revenue tripling year over year, and the new funding will support team expansion and continued product growth. Why Join Us? Early-stage, yet de-risked: We offer a rare combination of early-stage upside and proven product-market fit. With hundreds of paying customers, meaningful recurring revenue, profitability, and rapid growth, you can have the impact of joining an early-stage startup without many of the risks found at unproven companies. A massive, overlooked opportunity: Construction is one of the world's largest industries, yet much of its core technology is decades old. We're solving difficult problems in a market with enormous room for modernization. A platform built over years: We've spent years developing the infrastructure and industry partnerships needed to integrate with major construction ERP and project-management systems—work that would take a new competitor years to replicate. High ownership: You'll work directly with customers, collaborate closely with Product and Engineering, and have a front-row seat as a small, ambitious team scales the company.
