What You Will Do : Participate in design and development activities, including implementation of specifications and development of performance or maintenance requirements. Participate in the execution of tests for systems, subsystems, and components. Participate in the analysis of test results in relation to design and test objectives. May evaluate and analyze various mechanical products to determine their cost effectiveness and efficiency. Evaluate installations and recommend design modifications. Some travel may be required. What You Will Learn: Learn engineering design processes to contribute to designs for components, parts, subassemblies, and assemblies. Learn how to effectively communicate and work within a cross-functional team. Learn to work with complex, interconnected systems, including understanding how components fit together. Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by June 2027. Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret or Top Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to security investigations/reinstatements and must meet eligibility requirements. Qualifications We Prefer: Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and make sound, well informed decisions. Familiarity with Solidworks is a plus. Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience. The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
