A well-established regional healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Director of Facilities to lead Plant Operations, Environmental Services (EVS), and Grounds for an acute care hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven healthcare facilities leader looking to make a meaningful impact while leading a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Plant Operations, Maintenance, Environmental Services, and Grounds.
• Direct and mentor approximately 45 FTEs across multiple departments.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, utilities, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, and building systems.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, Joint Commission, and local regulatory requirements.
• Manage facility infrastructure, life safety programs, construction projects, vendor relationships, and capital improvements.
• Partner with hospital leadership to support safe, efficient, and compliant healthcare operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing facilities within an acute care hospital (required).
• Strong knowledge of:
• Hospital plant operations
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, and mechanical systems
• Environmental Services (EVS)
• Life Safety Codes
• Biohazard waste management
• Regulatory compliance (CMS, OSHA, EPA, NFPA)
