Job Description
Morgan Stanley is seeking a Director, QA Engineer to join their Services Group in Alpharetta, GA. This role focuses on planning and executing software testing phases while understanding business domains. The successful candidate will develop test automation solutions and integrate them with DevOps tools to enhance Continuous Integration and Delivery. The position also involves regular communication with leadership and ensuring adherence to best practices within the QA team.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Requires three years of experience in the position offered or as a Software Engineer, Associate, or related occupation.
- Requires three years of experience with skills including Cyara, TeamCity, Jenkins, GIT, JIRA, ALM, ARD, API Automation, ETL, DB2, Informatica, IVR, Call Flow, Call Routing, Agent Desktop, BDD test automation, Keyword Driven test automation, Data Driven test automation, Agile Methodology, Testing frameworks, Salesforce, and Cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute across all software testing phases.
- Understand business domains and connect the dots end-to-end.
- Communicate regularly with fleet leadership.
- Develop test automation solutions for software applications across different platforms.
- Participate in technical discussions with engineering teams to understand application architecture.
- Integrate test automation scripts with DevOps tools to achieve Continuous Integration, Testing, and Delivery.
- Perform periodical reviews on the squad’s adherence to best practices.
- Resolve defects and ensure timely closure.
