Domain Scientist (PhD)

Mafer is building the future of R&D in food and chemicals.

We are looking for ambitious scientists who want to turn deep chemical knowledge into software used by industrial R&D teams. You will work directly with clients, understand their formulation and laboratory data, and build models and product modules alongside our engineers.

YOU MAY BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE

• A PhD or strong industrial experience in chemistry, chemical engineering, food science or a related field.
• Experience in industrial R&D, quality, analytical science or regulatory work.
• Confidence working with data and Python.
• The ability to work with clients in Spanish and English.
• High standards, strong ownership and the drive to thrive in an intense, fast-moving environment.

Experience in food science, especially bakery, is a strong advantage and our current priority. Experience with chemometrics, predictive modelling, GC-MS, LC-MS, NIR or rheology is also highly valued.
