Driver - Auckland

This is a varied role that offers plenty of diversity. Depending on operational requirements, you could be involved in pre-cast transport, general freight, local deliveries, linehaul work, and if you can operate a swinglift, that's an even bigger advantage. What you'll be doing No two days are quite the same. Your work may include: Transporting pre-cast concrete products safely and efficiently. General freight deliveries across the Auckland region. Local metro work and linehaul assignments. Loading, securing and transporting a wide variety of freight. Operating a swinglift (ideal if you have previous experience and if not then a willingness to learn). Representing Mackleys professionally with customers every day. Completing pre-start checks and ensuring your vehicle is presented to a high standard. Working safely and following company and customer procedures at all times. What we're looking for A current New Zealand Class 5 Driver Licence. 3 plus years class 5 heavy transport experience. Experience with pre-cast or general freight transport. Swinglift experience would be a real advantage. Forklift licence and OSH endorsement (advantageous but not essential). Confidence using technology and learning new systems. A strong commitment to health and safety. Great customer service and communication skills. Pride in maintaining your truck and equipment. Reliability, punctuality and a positive, team-focused attitude. What's in it for you? Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week, up to a maximum of 70 hours. Weekly pay.
