Electrical Engineer Internship (Fall Term 2026)

You’ll join a team that has already proven what others said wasn’t feasible and is now scaling and upgrading our VLEO buses & payloads to serve mission sets across sensing, communications, and responsive operations. What You'll Do: Design, build, and integrate electrical ground support equipment (EGSE), including test racks, harnessing, and supporting hardware used for spacecraft integration and test. Support the design and execution of the flatsat testbed used for hardware/software integration, Perform hands-on electrical assembly, including soldering, crimping, connector assembly, cable routing, continuity checks, and harness inspection. Troubleshoot electrical hardware and test setups using standard lab equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and logic analyzers. Work closely with electrical, software, systems, and AI&T engineers to bring spacecraft hardware from initial design through integration and test. Your Ideal Skills and Experience: Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment. Attention to detail and an appreciation for workmanship, documentation, and repeatable hardware assembly Nice to have: Hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, or electronics assembly Experience building and troubleshooting electrical systems using common laboratory equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, or logic analyzers.
