Project Planner - Industrial Sector (Luleå, Sweden).

As part of our growth, we are looking to incorporate a Planner for a large-scale industrial project.


We are seeking a Planning Engineer to provide comprehensive support to a massive energy infrastructure project during the engineering, procurement, and construction phases. You will ensure proper coordination across all technical disciplines—with a strong focus on high-voltage and power systems—guaranteeing strict compliance with milestones, deadlines, and the overall project schedule for a long-term international assignment.


Main Responsibilities

  • Development and management of electrical installation, energization and commissioning schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Planning and coordination of electrical construction activities including substations, MCCs, transformers, drives and power distribution systems.
  • Integration of commissioning and start-up activities into the master project schedule. - Review and validation of contractor and OEM schedules.
  • Monitoring progress of electrical installation and commissioning works.
  • Coordination of interfaces between construction, commissioning and operations teams.
  • Identification of critical paths and schedule risks associated with energization activities.
  • Participation in planning and commissioning coordination meetings.
  • Preparation of progress reports, forecasts and recovery plans.
  • Support project execution during testing, commissioning and plant start-up phases.


Requirements

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in planning industrial projects.

- Strong experience in electrical installation and commissioning activities.

- Advanced Primavera P6 knowledge.

- Experience in EPC or EPCM environments.

- Understanding of MV/LV systems, energization and start-up processes.

- English level B2 minimum.

- Availability to work on-site in Sweden.


Preferred Experience

- Metals & Minerals, steel, mining or energy projects.

- Large industrial plants.

- Previous commissioning and start-up environments.


Location & Duration:

  • Luleå, Sweden.

The expected salary range for this position is €63,000–€70,000 gross per annum. However, the final offer will be aligned with the candidate's level of experience, technical capabilities, skills, and the value they can bring to the project.
