Job Description Summary Engineer - Inspection Technologies This role requires interacting and interfacing with all the verticals within GE Vernova businesses to develop state-of-the-art inspection solutions and advanced data analysis to support manufacturing and services organizations across Vernova. Specifically, the candidate will be working on robotic nondestructive inspection and signal/ image processing of NDE sensor data such as IR thermography, ultrasound, x-ray imaging. Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and deliver advanced nondestructive evaluation solutions Design and develop prototype NDE systems to solve manufacturing quality and services related problems Develop technology in emerging nondestructive methodologies such as autonomous drone-based inspections Support on-ongoing NDE development efforts with testing and qualification of new inspection modalities with six-sigma /statistical analysis tools. Required QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's/Masters degree in an engineering - mechanical, electrical, electronics or computer science 1 year of hands-on technical engineering experience, including internships at R&D/ manufacturing units Solid understanding of sensors, data acquisition, signal processing Hands-on experience in integrating sensors, mechatronics and inspection equipment Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment as “ONE TEAM” Demonstrated initiative, accountability and ownership of assigned tasks. Curiosity and appreciation for role of inter-disciplinary technologies in the product development and the overall “Big Picture” Demonstrated Creativity and Problem Solving Abilities.
