Engineering Manager

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join an international organization and work with distributed engineering teams on critical business systems. Responsibilities Own delivery execution and support alignment with the technology roadmap. Drive sustainable, predictable, and high-quality software delivery. Act as line manager for engineers, including coaching, feedback, staffing, and performance management. Bring technology direction and engineering best practices into the team. Focus on engineering quality, maintainability, testability, and operational excellence. Collaborate closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders. Act as the technical counterpart to the Product Owner within the team. Shape and help implement the technology strategy. Drive standardization and continuous improvement initiatives. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and improvement-oriented engineering culture. Participate actively in Agile product teams. Requirements 5+ years of experience in an engineering role, such as Software Engineering, QA Engineering, or a comparable technical role. Experience leading, coaching, or developing engineers or engineering teams. Proven track record combining people leadership with technical judgment and delivery ownership. Strong understanding of engineering quality, maintainability, testability, and operational excellence. Ability to translate business priorities into realistic and sustainable execution. Strong communication and collaborative leadership skills. Excellent English skills, written and spoken. Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.
