Relocate to Thailand: English Teaching Jobs for Irish Teachers

Thinking about leaving Ireland for a change of pace? TEFL UK is recruiting candidates on behalf of SINE Education Service, one of Thailand's most established English teaching providers, for a fully relocation-based teaching role in Bangkok, central Thailand or the north-east.

This is a genuine move abroad — full visa sponsorship, a work permit, and support finding your feet from day one, not a short-term placement.

The role:

• Full relocation to Thailand, with placements in Bangkok (central or greater), central Thailand, or the north-east
• Weekdays only — 24 lessons per week (50–60 minutes each), no weekend teaching
• All lesson plans, teacher notes and materials provided — no planning required
• Paid training in central Bangkok before you start (delivered in May and October)
• 1–2 semester contracts, hiring year-round, so no need to wait for a specific start date

Salary and benefits:

• THB 33,000–36,500 per month (approx. €860–€950), plus a THB 2,000 monthly allowance for greater Bangkok placements
• THB 20,000 completion bonus at the end of a full 10-month term
• Overtime available at THB 300 per hour beyond 24 lessons a week
• Health insurance provided through AETNA
• Legal work permit fully handled by SINE's in-house visa team
• Airport pick-up on arrival and support finding accommodation
• Thai public holidays paid, plus 2 weeks' annual leave in October, and paid sick leave

What you'll need:

• A bachelor's degree in any subject
• A TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate (not TEFL qualified yet? We can get you certified before you go)
• Fluent English speakers
• An outgoing, friendly, cheerful personality and a genuine enjoyment of working with young people
