Position Summary

We're seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to lead enterprise-wide data strategy and architecture across transactional, operational, and analytical platforms. This individual will partner with business and technology leaders to drive data governance, master data management (MDM), AI-readiness initiatives, modern data architectures, and future-state enterprise data strategy.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing architecture for data products, domain-oriented data ownership models, microservices ecosystems, and modern cloud-based analytical platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise data architecture standards, roadmaps, and best practices
• Lead architecture decisions across OLTP, ODS, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse environments
• Develop enterprise data strategies aligned with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives
• Drive MDM, data governance, metadata management, and data quality programs
• Design scalable architectures supporting data products, domain-driven data ownership, and federated governance models
• Architect data solutions for microservices-based and event-driven environments
• Establish AI-ready data foundations and analytical architectures
• Evaluate modern data platforms, integration patterns, streaming technologies, and cloud solutions
• Partner with business and technology teams to define future-state architecture roadmaps
• Mentor architects and engineering teams on architecture standards and governance

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Data Architecture experience
• Strong background in Enterprise Data Architecture and Data Strategy
• Experience with Data Governance, MDM, Metadata Management, and Enterprise Data Modeling
• Experience designing architectures across OLTP, ODS, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse environments
• Understanding of Data Products, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Data Mesh, or federated data operating models
• Experience supporting microservices, API-first, event-driven, and distributed application architectures
• Expertise in analytical platforms including Snowflake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures
• Experience working with executive stakeholders and translating business needs into architecture solutions
• AWS experience preferred; Azure or GCP experience also considered
• Exposure to Kafka, Spark, Flink, Databricks, and AI/ML data foundations is a plus
