Enterprise Data Lead

A global aerospace company is seeking an Enterprise Data Lead to lead a critical data function based in Abu Dhabi. The business is reliant on advanced analytics and predictive modelling, based on sophisticated cloud and data environment data to support business decisions and strengthen customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the strategic owner of all enterprise data systems, ensuring platforms evolve with business needs while maintaining stability and performance.
• Lead and improve the overall data ecosystem, including governance, quality, automation, and system optimization.
• Oversee full ERP transformation, including user access, configurations, data extraction (SQL), bulk data imports, custom forms, alerts, notifications, and resolving issues with technical support.
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines, dashboards, and predictive models using SQL/Python to deliver real‑time insights across the business.
• Lead advanced analytics focused on procurement, sales, supply chain, pricing, inventory data and FMV campaigns, from data collection and cleansing to modeling, dashboard updates, and integration of results back into the ERP.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, data‑driven solutions that improve operations and decision‑making.
• Produce documentation, training materials, and lead training sessions to ensure teams can effectively use reports, dashboards, and ERP tools.
• Drive key digital transformation initiatives, including marketplace development, cloud migration, workflow optimization, automation, and data security improvements.
• Ensure regulatory, trade compliance, and IT policy alignment while maintaining strong data integrity and risk mitigation practices across the business.
• Establish and enforce data quality frameworks within the ERP to guarantee clean, reliable, and consistent operational data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in applied data science, ERP systems, and advanced analytics.

Technical Skills (hands-on):

• Python, SQL, PySpark (must-have)
• FastAPI, GraphQL, REST APIs (must-have)
• Microsoft Azure, GCP, AWS, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks
• Oracle Fusion, Quantum Control, ERP Transformations, SAP S/4HANA, ERP Reporting & Analytics
• Data Visualization, Enterprise Dashboards, Power BI, Tableau
• Predictive Modelling, Statistical Analysis, Regression & Classification Models, Decision Support Analytics (pricing, inventory optimisation, demand forecasting, procurement analytics)
• Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL
