Overview

Our client is investing heavily in automation, artificial intelligence, and enterprise modernization to improve operational efficiency and elevate the customer experience. They are seeking a Solution Architect to define the technical direction for these initiatives while partnering with business leaders, engineering teams, and technology partners to bring innovative solutions into production.

This position combines strategic architecture with hands-on technical leadership. You will evaluate emerging technologies, design enterprise platforms, and establish scalable automation capabilities that support long-term business growth. Success in this role requires balancing innovation with governance, security, reliability, and operational excellence.

What You'll Own

As the Solution Architect, you'll establish the technical blueprint for enterprise automation initiatives and guide projects from concept through deployment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing enterprise solutions that automate complex operational processes using AI, workflow technologies, and modern integration platforms.
• Building scalable architectures that connect cloud services, enterprise applications, legacy systems, and third-party technologies.
• Developing reusable frameworks, technical standards, and architectural governance that improve consistency across automation initiatives.
• Partnering with business leaders to understand operational challenges and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
• Evaluating automation technologies—including intelligent document processing, robotic process automation, generative AI, and orchestration platforms—to determine the best fit for each use case.
• Leading architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and implementation planning with software engineering teams.
• Defining integration strategies utilizing APIs, event-driven architecture, messaging technologies, and cloud-native services.
• Establishing enterprise standards around AI governance, monitoring, security, model performance, and responsible AI practices.
• Collaborating with infrastructure, security, and data teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Providing architectural oversight for external implementation partners and managed service providers.
• Mentoring technical teams while fostering engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

Technical Environment

Successful candidates will have experience architecting solutions involving many of the following:

• Enterprise cloud platforms (AWS and/or Microsoft Azure)
• API management and enterprise integration
• Event-driven architecture and microservices
• Intelligent automation and workflow platforms
• Robotic Process Automation (UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform, Automation Anywhere, or similar)
• Document intelligence and OCR technologies
• Generative AI and Large Language Models
• AI orchestration frameworks
• Enterprise security and identity management
• Modern DevOps and CI/CD practices
