Plant/Site: JBS Dinmore Plant Req Id: 15928 Date Posted: 14 Jul 2026 About the role At JBS Dinmore, we are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across all environmental activities at one of Australia’s largest food manufacturing sites. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring environmental compliance, leading sustainability initiatives, and driving continuous improvement to support both regulatory requirements and sustainable business outcomes. Working closely with production, engineering, maintenance, and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining the site’s strong environmental performance. The successful candidate will lead the site’s Environmental Management System (EMS), oversee environmental monitoring programs, manage regulatory reporting and stakeholder engagement, and coordinate audits, inspections, and compliance activities. You will also drive initiatives to reduce waste, energy, and water consumption, investigate environmental incidents, deliver environmental training, and support projects that enhance environmental performance and operational efficiency across the site. About you You will be a proactive leader who is passionate about environmental stewardship and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll ideally bring: Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline Experience in environmental management within manufacturing, food processing or heavy industry Strong knowledge of Queensland environmental legislation and compliance requirements Experience managing environmental licences and regulatory reporting Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience leading audits and continuous improvement initiatives A commitment to workplace safety and sustainable business practices Why Join JBS?
