We are seeking an experienced Day Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at Slade Pharmacy Northside. To help support your move to sunny Brisbane, relocation assistance may be provided to help make your transition as smooth as possible.
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality, patient-centred cancer care, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. You will contribute across clinical pharmacy, outpatient services, and dispensary operations, supporting the safe and effective delivery of oncology treatments.
You will also play an important role in mentoring and coaching members of the pharmacy team; particularly Pharmacy Technicians by supporting their development while fostering a strong learning culture and maintaining high clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced oncology pharmacy services across clinical and dispensary functions with minimal supervision
- Apply sound clinical judgement to a complex caseload, using an evidence-based approach to optimise patient care
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, providing high-level clinical advice to support treatment decisions
- Supervise, mentor, and support the development of pharmacy staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team environment
- Act as a key point of expertise for oncology pharmacy practice within the team
About You
You are an experienced Oncology Pharmacist with a strong commitment to patient-centred cancer care. You bring well-developed clinical knowledge and are confident working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
You are also passionate about supporting and developing others and thrive in a role where you can contribute both clinically and as a mentor.
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA general registration
- Minimum 2-years’ experience in oncology pharmacy
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and manage interactions with doctors and multidisciplinary teams
- A proactive approach to mentoring and coaching
Please note that this role requires prior oncology pharmacy experience. We are not considering applicants without this background.
