Is this job info correct?

About Us At Intramotev, we are dedicated to liberating tons of freight from congested highways, reducing carbon emissions, and enhancing transportation efficiency. We are deploying self-propelled battery-electric railcars and vehicles to transform freight logistics and modernize a 200-year-old industry. Based in St. Louis, MO, we are committed to fostering a work environment for every teammate that's welcoming, respectful, and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth. Find your future with us. Role Overview We are seeking an Experienced Project Engineer to serve as a technical point of contact for customers across our core rail, mining, steel mill, and logistics accounts. This role combines a strong engineering background with project execution and technical-sales experience — the successful candidate will manage active customer accounts, translate customer requirements into project charters and technical specifications, and represent the voice of the customer back to internal engineering and design teams. This is a full-time, 100% in-office role based in St. Louis, MO. You'll work within a team of 3–10 engineers and engage in occasional domestic travel (up to 50%) for customer site visits, demonstrations, and project reviews. Key Responsibilities Requirements Management: Translate customer logistical and interface requirements into verifiable system architectures and technical specifications. Project Execution: Develop pre-project approval documents, including project charters, project management plans, and milestone schedules. Case Studies: Prepare customer-specific case studies derived from routes, volumes, and operational profiles. Risk Management: Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. Technical Support: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for one or more active customer accounts; establish rapport and acceptance with customer stakeholders and operators. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal engineering and design teams, communicating voice-of-customer feedback into product development. Operational Reporting: Conduct regular project status meetings; report progress to internal leadership and external stakeholders. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $90,000–$115,000 plus equity Intramotev offers a comprehensive benefits package for all team members, including: Medical coverage: We cover 100% of employee medical premiums, plus low-cost dental and vision options. Vacation: Full-time employees enjoy unlimited paid time off. Equity: Full-time employees receive equity in the company. Parental leave: New parents receive paid time off to spend quality time with their family. About You: Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) At least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Science. 3–5 years of experience managing engineering projects and/or in technical sales. Direct experience in either custom-build, low-volume production fabrication (helping run or directly support a build-to-order shop through first-article builds and production ramp, including engineering changes flowing into an active build line) or working directly in or with rail, mining, steel mills, or logistics (operator, freight, or OEM side). Comfortable serving as a primary technical point of contact for external customers. Willingness to expand into technical areas beyond your area of expertise and develop innovative and novel approaches. Open-minded and comfortable working in a teaming environment as an individual contributor. Fluent in both written and verbal English. Must be authorized to work in the United States; Intramotev will not sponsor a visa for this position. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Candidate should have a working knowledge of one or (ideally) multiple areas listed below: Experience in rail, mining, steel, logistics, or electric vehicles specifically, as opposed to adjacent industrial sectors. Prior technical sales experience layered on top of a fabrication or customer-industry background. Demonstrated experience on cross-functional, multi-disciplinary engineering teams. Experience in Agile environments for hardware and software development. Typical Education and Experience Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor and/or Master) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master + 1 years' related work experience). Relocation This position offers a competitive relocation package for qualified candidates. Equal Opportunity Employer Intramotev is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, physical or mental disability, genetic factors, military/veteran status or other characteristics protected by law. Closing If you're passionate about engineering and eager to contribute to autonomous rail technology, we'd love to hear from you!
