We are recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine OR Family Medicine physician to join our established Burlington-based outpatient practice serving Alamance County, North Carolina. Kernodle Clinic is Duke’s largest community-based multi-specialty practice, with approximately 60 physicians and 46 advanced practice providers across 15 medical and surgical specialties , supported by a 75,000-square-foot main office , walk-in clinic, and multiple specialty satellite services. Current IM Opportunity Internal Medicine Clinic - Burlington, NC (Outpatient) Note: This opportunity is specific to the Burlington Internal Medicine practice. Prior references to Elon or Mebane Internal Medicine openings have been retired. Burlington Internal Medicine Team & Practice Highlights Active teaching environment with rotating PA students and medical students Established outpatient Internal Medicine practice in Burlington Team-based culture with 10 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers Call: 1:15 , office call only After-hours answering service fields first No inpatient responsibilities Typical patient volume: 18–24 patients per day Abridge AI Scribe support Dedicated 1:1 MD:MA or nurse staffing model Active teaching environment with rotating PA students and medical students Compensation & Benefits Kernodle Clinic offers a robust compensation plan that rewards clinical productivity.
