Our Finance Shared Services (FSS), located in Bengaluru, India is looking to strengthen its teams in preparation of an imminent Global finance transformation with exciting new positions being created in multiple functions. The key purpose of the role is to perform accounting tasks relating to Bank account reconciliation and General Ledger. This new position is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to make a positive impact on a dynamic business. Your role Record fixed asset acquisitions, disposals, retirements, and impairments in the accounting system in accordance with company policy and accounting standards. Process fixed asset transfers and reclassifications based on business requests, ensuring appropriate approvals and documentation. Prepare, review, and post fixed asset related journal entries as part of the month‑end close process. Reconcile fixed asset subsidiary ledger with the general ledger and investigate and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis. Ensure depreciation is calculated and recorded accurately in line with the fixed asset policy, useful lives, and depreciation methods. Review, maintain, and update detailed fixed asset registers, including accumulated depreciation. Perform reconciliation of fixed asset balances between Oracle and EPM systems and investigate variances. Monitor Capital Work‑in‑Progress (CWIP) and ensure timely capitalization upon asset readiness. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards related to fixed assets. Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and audit documentation. Analyze fixed asset data and prepare management reports, dashboards, and ad hoc reports as required. About you The candidate must have experience in complete accounting for the Fixed Asset process Should be well versed with General Ledger Accounting. Knowledge in Bank reconciliation process is an added advantage. Computer literate, Microsoft Office i.e., Outlook, Excel and Word Ability to maintain confidentiality of information. To demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal. Must be able to communicate with internal offshore colleagues in a professional manner. Must have a keen eye for details The ability to work collaboratively, building strong relationships with other accounting teams Must have the ability to prioritise workload to achieve daily tasks and meet deadlines.
