Title: Finance Specialist with Business & SAP Taxation Experience (only W2 Position – No C2C Accepted)

Description: STG is a SEI CMMi Level 5 company with several Fortune 500 and State Government clients. STG has an opening for Finance Specialist with Business & SAP Taxation Experience.

Please note that this project assignment is with our own direct clients. We do not go through any vendors. STG only does business with direct end clients. This is expected to be a long-term position. STG will provide immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to those candidates who need it.

Experience Required:

1. Application Operations & Support
2. Lead the operational support, maintenance, and lifecycle management of enterprise Finance applications.
3. Ensure application availability, performance, security, and compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
4. Manage incidents, problems, change, and release management processes to minimize business disruption.
5. Coordinate application upgrades, patches, testing activities, and production deployments. Monitor application performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
6. Ensure compliance with corporate IT governance, cybersecurity, risk management, and procurement policies.
7. Business Partnership & Strategic Alignment
8. Serve as the primary IT partner for Finance business stakeholders and leadership teams. Collaborate with Finance and technology partners to understand business requirements and translate them into technology solutions and support strategies.
9. Provide leadership visibility into Value Creation Programs, Al initiatives, project status, operational risks, commitments, and mitigation plans.
10. Facilitate prioritization of application enhancements, investment opportunities, and strategic technology initiatives.
11. Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with Finance business objectives and enterprise strategies.
12. Digital Transformation & Innovation
13. Drive Finance technology modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
14. Identify and implement opportunities to leverage Al, automation, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies to improve business processes and outcomes.
15. Support the adoption of modern data and analytics platforms to enhance decision-making and operational effectiveness.
16. Champion innovation initiatives that create measurable business value and improve organizational capabilities. Program & Project Leadership
17. Lead cross-functional teams responsible for application enhancements, integrations, and strategic project delivery.
18. Provide end-to-end accountability for Finance-related technology deliverables across major programs and initiatives.
19. Monitor project execution, resource allocation, and sourcing decisions to ensure delivery against cost, quality, timing, and capacity objectives.
20. Escalate issues proactively and drive cross-functional alignment to resolve risks and remove obstacles.
21. 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise business applications, Finance systems, ERP solutions, or related technology environments.
22. Experience supporting SAP and/or other enterprise business applications.
23. Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives and drive results in a cross-functional environment.
24. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
25. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience interacting with senior leadership.
26. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
27. Experience leading through influence and collaborating across diverse business and technology teams.
28. Proven ability to identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive issue resolution.
29. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and business value creation.
