Launch your career in international accounting and take on a wide range of responsibilities from day one, including financial reporting under HGB and IFRS, regulatory reporting, and the continuous improvement of our finance processes. You can look forward to Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for various entities of the Hannover Re Group in accordance with HGB and IFRS Calculate and post provisions in SAP FI GL and reflect them in our reporting systems Prepare, review, and submit regulatory reports to German supervisory authorities Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and implement required accounting adjustments Contribute to our SAP S/4HANA migration project and actively support the development and optimization of accounting processes Provide professional accounting guidance to our international branches on financial reporting matters You come equipped with Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable field of study Initial practical experience in accounting, for example through internships or working student positions within the insurance or financial services industry First exposure to the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements under HGB and IFRS Strong MS Excel skills and ideally knowledge of SAP FI GL and/or SAP S/4HANA Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for process improvement, digitalization, and transformation initiatives You may not meet every requirement listed in the job description.
