Job Summary: In this role, you will work with leaders to define desired content, coordinate, and prepare forecasts and briefing packages including reports on topics such as performance, profitability, clients, and cash flow. You will conduct research, develop infographics and insights, and create and publish user manuals. Your expertise will ensure data accuracy and timeliness and will stimulate meaningful reviews by leadership. "This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership” #LI-CS1 Major Responsibilities: Coordinates and prepares forecasts and briefing packages for executive management including reports on Global Business Unit (GBU) performance and profitability, overhead, personnel, cash flow, offices, clients, and general country information Works with responsible manager and executive management staff in defining the desired content of forecast information and briefing packages Inputs data into and extracts information from various information systems and databases Develops infographics and documents insights from company-wide historical and forecast performance data to stimulate meaningful reviews by senior executives at periodic leadership meetings Reviews a variety of published material for data relevant to the department's files on clients, competitors, countries, and industries Inputs data into and extracts information from various information systems and databases Interacts with GBU Management Information teams, other corporate service organizations, executive leadership, and departments within Corporate Finance, including Tax, Treasury, and Financial Reporting Acts as a “Super-User” for Bechtel’s enterprise EPM system, such as Hyperion and Power BI, to include training users, troubleshooting system issues, and contributing to system enhancements Creates and publishes user manuals for enterprise reporting system applications, drafts policy on FP&A processes Coordinates GBU, functions and services use of the enterprise reporting system to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience Required Knowledge and Skills: Coordinate and lead forecasting and planning activities, including budget preparation, variance analysis, management reporting, and identification of key business and financial drivers across multiple organizations or workstreams. Analyze project, overhead, and business financial performance, connecting operational and commercial drivers to financial outcomes and independently identifying risks, opportunities, and recommended actions. Lead finance transformation and process-improvement initiatives, including process redesign, standardization, automation, data integration, and modernization of FP&A reporting and analytical capabilities. Support the implementation and adoption of Databricks, partnering with Finance, data, and technology teams to define FP&A requirements, strengthen data quality, and translate enterprise data into scalable reporting and decision-support solutions. Experience implementing or using Databricks in a finance environment is preferred. Leverage financial systems and analytical tools to extract, validate, analyze, and present data efficiently and reliably. Advanced experience with Hyperion and CFAR is preferred. Translate complex financial and operational information into executive-ready insights, clearly articulating key messages, business implications, financial impacts, and recommended actions. Partner effectively across functions and influence decision-making, building productive relationships with Project Controls, Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Operations, business leadership, and technology teams.
