Forward Deployed Engineer ($180K, OTE: $270K-$300K) Transforming AI Systems for Fortune 500 Clients

This role is being recruited by CoffeeSpace on behalf of an anonymous AI-focused company that partners with leading AI organizations to transform business operations for Fortune 500 companies.

We’re identifying a small number of exceptional forward deployed engineers from our network. If there’s a strong fit, we’ll introduce you directly to the founding team.

Location: New York, New York, United States

Compensation: $180K (OTE: $270K - $300K) ($180K guaranteed base + uncapped quarterly bonuses. Engineers in good standing earn ~$300K+ total comp. )

The team is growing rapidly, aiming to expand from 40 to 200 members by the end of the year. They are fully bootstrapped, consistently outperforming major consulting firms in competitive bids. The company was co-founded by Alex Lieberman, known for founding Morning Brew, and works with clients across various sectors including professional sports, retail, and private equity.

About the role

You will embed directly into client environments to deploy AI systems that significantly impact business operations. This role involves working closely with C-suite executives and requires a high degree of autonomy and technical expertise.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the development and deployment of AI workflows and systems for enterprise clients.
• Integrate into client codebases and deliver production-ready code efficiently.
• Engage with senior executives at major companies, presenting solutions and collaborating on AI strategies.
• Utilize advanced coding tools to enhance development speed and efficiency.
• Partner with AI Strategists to conceptualize and implement impactful AI systems.

The Ideal Candidate

• 3-8 years of experience in production software engineering with a record of delivering complex projects.
• Proficient in full-stack development and deploying production code.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with enterprise clients and executives.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, in-person work environment in NYC.
