Founding Product Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly technical Founding Product Manager to join our team and help build AI-powered products from 0 to 1. This is a rare opportunity to work directly with the CEO and CTO, define product strategy, and shape the future of the company. The ideal candidate thrives in early-stage startup environments, is deeply customer-focused, and can bridge the gap between engineering, product, and go-to-market teams.

Location: San Francisco (5 days/week on-site)

Compensation: $175K–$280K base (flexible up to $300K) + meaningful equity

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and scale the self-serve growth strategy to drive adoption and revenue.

- Build and launch a participant panel platform from the ground up, including acquisition, retention, matching, and quality systems.

- Partner closely with engineering to prioritize product development and technical initiatives.

- Work directly with founders to evolve and execute product strategy.

- Conduct customer research and translate insights into product opportunities.

- Prototype and build AI-native solutions using modern AI tools and workflows.

Requirements:

- 5–8+ years of Product Management experience.

- Proven track record of launching 0-to-1 products in startup environments (Seed to Series C).

- Strong technical background with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.

- Deep understanding of product architecture and engineering trade-offs.

- Experience working closely with customers and cross-functional teams.

- AI product experience or strong hands-on experience using AI tools for building and prototyping.

Preferred Background:

- Founding PM, early-stage startup employee, former founder, or Software Engineer turned Product Manager.

- Experience scaling products and teams in high-growth startups.

Not a Fit If:

- Your experience is primarily in large enterprises with limited startup exposure.

- You specialize only in growth, monetization, or PLG without strong technical product depth.

- You have not built products from 0 to 1 in a fast-paced startup environment.

- You lack a technical educational or engineering foundation.
