RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with product stakeholders to understand business needs, transform them into technical specifications, and estimate resources and timelines. Develop and maintain features within the Stibo STEP platform, including customization of workflows, business rules (JavaScript), WebUI, and data model configurations. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while participating in code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards and maintainability. Use Azure DevOps to manage code repositories, development tasks, and implement CI/CD pipelines. Ensure high system quality and performance by applying continuous testing, monitoring, and optimization strategies, including implementing security and access controls. Support issue resolution, debug and troubleshoot problems within the STEP environment, and document solutions and technical progress. Contribute to data integration activities by identifying, modelling, and linking internal and external data sources within the STEP architecture. Actively engage in BASF development communities, promoting knowledge exchange and innovation around digital product development and data-driven solutions. REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION 2+ years of experience in technical development, configuration, and customization of Stibo STEP modules. Solid understanding of PIM and MDM principles, with practical experience in STEP workflows, attributes, WebUI customization, and business rules. Experience in working with shared and customized STEP environments, with knowledge of the tool’s core and advanced functionalities. Familiarity with STIBO reporting/monitoring functions and good awareness of best practices in MDM/PIM development. Proficient in JavaScript for business rules and comfortable with data modeling concepts in product/customer domains. Hands-on experience with agile development tools, especially Azure DevOps, including version control and CI/CD setup. Strong analytical and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn. Fluent in English; German is a plus. Stibo Systems certification is a plus.
