A Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in a relevant area combined with 2 additional years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree. Work Experience: A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in fundraising, including strategic fundraising management experience within markets and complex international organizations is required. Skills: Experience leading cross-functional teams, market portfolios and strategic coordination is required. Proven success in driving private individual giving revenue growth and individual donor value growth is required. Demonstrated experience in digital fundraising, acquisition and performance optimization, is required. Strong analytical skills and experience translating complex performance data into strategic recommendations and business decisions, is required. Excellent communication and coordination skills are required. Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is required. Desirables: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset. Experience working with fundraising performance frameworks, KPIs, management reporting and market performance analysis is an asset. Experience in agile methodologies and use of digital planning tools is an asset. Experience working in a multicultural environment is an asset. Knowledge of emerging trends in fundraising, including digital campaigns, etc. is an asset. Familiarity with UNICEF’s private sector funding model, Country Office and National Committee market structures is an asset.
