Maar ons werk stopt niet wanneer meubels zijn geleverd. Bij NORNORM worden producten niet één keer gebruikt en daarna weggegooid. Wij beheren de volledige levenscyclus: leveren, ophalen, refurbishment en opnieuw inzetten, zodat producten keer op keer gebruikt kunnen worden.
Dat is precies wat deze rol anders maakt dan de meeste implementatie- of operationsfuncties.
De rol
Als onze nieuwe Furniture Installations - Junior Project Manager (Operations) (internal title: Delivery Manager) maak je deel uit van het Benelux-team in Amsterdam en neem je als onderdeel van het Delivery Team end-to-end verantwoordelijkheid voor installatie van kantoormeubilair bij klanten in de Benelux en Parijs.
Je plant en coördineert en nieuwe installaties en werkplekwijzigingen bij bestaande klanten, in nauwe samenwerking met interne teams en externe installatiepartners.
Dit is een hands-on, uitvoeringsgerichte rol waarin projectmanagement en operationele coördinatie en on-site leiderschap samenkomen. Je fungeert als operationeel aanspreekpunt, neemt onder druk tijdig beslissingen en zorgt ervoor dat projecten op tijd, binnen scope en volgens de kwaliteitsstandaarden van NORNORM worden opgeleverd.
Daarnaast maak je deel uit van de Global Implementation Team, waarin best practices uit andere markten worden gedeeld en verder ontwikkeld.
Jouw verantwoordelijkheden
- On-site uitvoering & leiderschap - Je leidt de uitvoering op locatie samen met installatiepartners en interne teams. Je bewaakt kwaliteit en veiligheid, geeft duidelijke richting waar nodig en neemt tijdig beslissingen om projecten op koers te houden.
- Projectplanning & oplevering - Je plant en managed kantoormeubel installaties van begin tot eind, inclusief planning en coördinatie tussen interne teams en externe partners. Daarnaast zorg je ervoor dat onze partners de last mile logistics kosten-optimaal inplannen.
- Order Management - Je bent verantwoordelijk voor outbound orders, change orders, returns, en replacements.
- 3PL Warehouse Management - Dagelijkse coördinatie met warehouse partners, met een focus voor het oplossen van picking fouten en stock discrepancies.
- Stakeholdercoördinatie & communicatie - Je bent het belangrijkste aanspreekpunt voor installatiepartners en interne stakeholders en zorgt voor duidelijke communicatie, goede afstemming en effectieve oplossing van problemen. Verder leid jij ook onderhandelingen met onze partner m.b.t. kostenoptimalisaties en het verbeteren van te leveren diensten.
- Kwaliteit, risico- en issuemanagement - Je zorgt ervoor dat installaties voldoen aan de afgesproken specificaties en kwaliteitsstandaarden, signaleert risico’s vroegtijdig en vindt oplossingen wanneer zich problemen voordoen.
- Performance monitoring & verbetering - Je volgt belangrijke KPI’s rondom levering, optimalisatie van kosten en klanttevredenheid en gebruikt deze inzichten om processen en partnerprestaties te verbeteren.
Skills & Ervaring
- Aantoonbare ervaring of affiniteit in project- of operationsmanagement binnen een uitvoeringsgerichte omgeving met fysieke producten en on-site levering (sterke voorkeur voor Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations of vergelijkbaar).
- Ervaring met / opleiding die aansluit op het managen van complexe projecten met meerdere stakeholders.
- Ervaring met / training in het werken met CRM en ERP systemen (sterke voorkeur voor ervaring met Microsoft Dynamics).
- Sterk technisch en praktisch inzicht in installaties of vakmanschap, waardoor je kwaliteit kunt beoordelen, oplossingen kunt bedenken en teams op locatie kunt begeleiden.
- Vloeiend communicaren in zowel het Nederlands als Engels is een harde vereiste voor deze rol. Frans en / of Spaans is een pré.

Let op: wij bieden helaas geen relocatie ondersteuning of visa sponsorship. Een bestaande werkvergunning binnen de EU is daarom een vereiste. Je woont al (binnen reisafstand van-) Amsterdam, of bereid zijn om op eigen kosten naar Amsterdam te verhuizen.

That's what makes this role different from most implementation or operations jobs.
The Role
As our new Furniture Installations - Junior Project Manager (Operations), internally known as Delivery Manager, you'll join our Benelux team in Amsterdam. As part of our Delivery Team, you'll take end-to-end ownership of furniture installations across Benelux and Paris, planning, coordinating, and delivering projects in close collaboration with our internal teams and external installation partners.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, combining project and operations management with on-site leadership. You'll act as the operational lead, make timely decisions under pressure, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to NORNORM's quality standards. You'll also join our global implementation group, sharing and building best practices together.
Your Responsibilities
- On-site execution and leadership. Lead on-site delivery with installation partners and internal teams. Set clear direction when adjustments are needed, uphold our quality and safety standards, and make timely decisions to keep projects on track.
- Project planning and delivery. Plan and manage end-to-end furniture installation projects, including timelines, resources, and coordination across internal teams and external partners. You'll also make sure our implementation partner delivers cost-efficient, last-mile planning.
- Order management. Handle outbound orders, change orders, returns, and replacements.
- 3PL warehouse management. Sync daily with warehouse partners, resolving picking errors and stock discrepancies.
- Stakeholder coordination and communication. Be the main point of contact for installation partners and internal stakeholders, keeping communication clear and issues resolved quickly. You'll also lead negotiations with our installation partner to secure the best cost and service quality for NORNORM.
- Quality, risk, and issue management. Make sure installations meet agreed specifications and quality standards, spot risks early, and find solutions fast when problems come up.
- Performance tracking and improvement. Track KPIs for delivery, cost, and customer satisfaction, and use what you learn to improve processes and partner performance.
Skills & experience
- Experience or affinity with project or operations management in an execution-heavy environment involving physical goods and on-site delivery (a background in supply chain, logistics, or operations is a strong plus).
- Proven experience or training managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven experience or training working with CRM and ERP systems (prior Microsoft Dynamics experience is a strong plus).
- A strong, hands-on understanding of installations or craftsmanship, so you can assess quality, challenge solutions, and guide on-site teams with confidence.
- Fluency in Dutch (ideally native) and English is a hard requirement. French and/or Spanish is a bonus.
