Heart Care Team concsists of 16 physicians and 16 APPs (across all sub-specialties) Call structure: 1:8 light home call Practice setting: Mixed (primarily outpatient clinic with inpatient rounding 1x every 2 months) Access to advanced cath lab (including Watchman, TAVR, high-risk PCI, renal denervation), on-site CT surgery backup, and advanced cardiac imaging Drive clinical excellence by utilizing evidence-based decision-making and key procedures (TEE, DCCV) to maximize patient satisfaction and outcomes Enhance patient access and heart care through collaborative outpatient and inpatient consultations, maintaining an average clinic volume of 15–20 patients per day ACGME Internal Medicine residency involvement optional Mentorship opportunities available for advanced practice practitioners and medical students Employed position within a nonprofit health system Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology Fellowship training in Cardiology required About the Facility Full-service hospital facility with 375 beds and three adult intensive care units Level 2 adult and pediatric trauma center Serving a regional tri-state population of approximately 300,000+ residents Integrated referral network Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system Why Physicians Choose Ascension Physician-led, collaborative culture Long-term practice stability National network with local autonomy Mission-centered care rooted in service What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
