Responsibilities The Department of Emergency Medicine at Dartmouth Health invites applications for the position of Program Director for the EM Residency Program . This is a distinguished leadership opportunity within one of New England’s premier academic emergency medicine programs, combining strategic administrative responsibility to advance our missions of education, research, and clinical care. The Program Director will provide visionary leadership, administration, and oversight of all aspects of the residency program in accordance with ACGME requirements, upholding excellence in resident education, faculty engagement, clinical training, and program accreditation—while fostering an inclusive, academically rigorous training environment. In addition, the Program Director will maintain an active clinical role, providing direct patient care and supervising trainees in the Emergency Department. The Program Director will work collaboratively with the Department Chair and leadership, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center’s GME leadership and interdisciplinary teams.
