This program is designed for early-career professionals who are interested in developing long-term careers in engineering, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and technical management.

What You’ll Do

As a member of the Graduate Development Program, you will receive structured training and hands-on exposure to Hailiang’s U.S. manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities may include:

• Support day-to-day manufacturing, engineering, or operational activities.
• Analyze production processes and assist with process and efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, logistics, procurement, and other cross-functional teams.
• Support production planning, material flow, supply chain, and internal operational coordination.
• Participate in technical and management training programs.
• Assist with production data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and operational management.
• Take on increasing levels of responsibility as you progress through the development program.

Selected positions may include additional technical training in China before returning to the U.S. operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM or other relevant technical discipline.
• Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• No prior full-time professional experience required.
• Candidates with limited early-career experience may also be considered.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and learning capabilities.
• Willingness to work on-site in Sealy, Texas.
• Interest in building a long-term career in manufacturing, engineering, operations, or technical management.

Relevant majors may include Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Automation, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Supply Chain, and other STEM-related disciplines.

Management Track:

Team Leader → Supervisor → Manager → Senior Management

Technical Track:

Engineer → Senior Engineer → Technical Specialist → Senior Technical Expert

Compensation & Development

• Annual Salary: Approximately $65,000–$80,000, depending on position, qualifications, and experience.
