Most GTM Engineer roles are a sales ops job with a new name. This one is not.

BetterContact runs the waterfall enrichment behind modern outbound stacks. Scalantec runs the GTM systems of 25+ B2B companies. We are joining forces to build something neither of us could build alone: a company whose product is modern revenue systems. Enrichment, signals, agents and automation wired into one machine that takes a B2B company from noise to predictable pipeline, and takes their revenue somewhere they could not get to by hiring more people.

That is the thing being built. It is being built for years, not months, and this is one of the first hires on it.

How you will see it working

In September 2026 we take the GTM World Tour to 10 cities across 2 continents in 4 weeks, Berlin to San Francisco. Every night, one real company's pipeline gets rebuilt live on stage in front of 60 hand-picked revenue leaders. No slides. No demo data. If it breaks, the room watches us fix it.

The tour is not the job. The tour is where the systems you build get shown to the people who set the standard, and where the next hundred companies that need them are sitting in the room. Ten cities in September, more routes after that, and the work continues between every stop.

What you will actually do

• Build enrichment and signal workflows end to end. Not run them. Build them.
• Take a real company's broken pipeline and rebuild it as a working system, then hand it over running.
• Turn what works into repeatable product. The one-off you build for one company in October should be the thing we deploy for twenty companies in February.
• Wire agents and AI into outbound where it produces a measurable lift, and cut it where it does not.
• Own the internal GTM stack for both companies and keep it faster than the market's.
• Prep and stress test the builds that go on stage, so nothing breaks that we did not choose to break.
• Write down what works. Half of it ends up in the GTM Manifesto that every attendee walks out with.

The stack you will live in

Clay. BetterContact. n8n or Make. HeyReach. Trigify. Claude and the current AI tooling. HubSpot or the CRM of whoever is on stage that night. If you have not touched one of these but you have shipped something comparable, that is fine. If you have touched all of them and never shipped anything that produced revenue, that is not.

What we are looking for

• You have built GTM or automation systems that ran in production and moved a real number. Portfolio, Loom, screenshots, a Clay table, anything. Show it.
• You think in systems, not tasks. Given "our outbound is not working," you go and find out why before you touch a tool.
• You are comfortable with APIs, webhooks and data structures. You do not need to be an engineer. You do need to not be scared of one.
• You work independently, because we are distributed and nobody is going to check on you at 10am.
• Minimum 4 hours daily overlap with Central European Time.
• You want to build one thing for a long time. If you are looking for a three month contract, this is not it.

What we do not care about

Degrees. Where you live. Which company logos are on your CV. Whether you have had the exact title before.
