Job Title: IT Technician

Salary: 65k AUD + Superannuation

Location - Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia.

Qualifications And Experience

Minimum experience as a technician for 3-5 years.
We are looking for a person who can multi-task and fix a wide range of devices for our customers.
No front sales is required as this role is dedicated to troubleshoot and repair phones, tablets & possibly other daily use gadgets.
Current experience in repairing devices is required for this role.
Micro soldering ability is not required, however an interest in learning these techniques would be highly desirable.

Requirements

Tasks and responsibilities:

Using our computerised Job ticketing system to review repairs requested by customers.
Speaking with staff to clarify repair details if needed.
Troubleshooting & repairing a wide range of mobile phones, tablets, laptops and other devices.
This may include replacing screens, charger ports, speakers, batteries, cameras & all small parts.
Estimating and quoting non-standard repairs.
Identifying special parts required to complete repairs (may involve speaking to parts suppliers)
Testing functionality of repaired devices.
Recording notes on job-sheets regarding repair, including noting parts used and operation of device testing after repair.
Monitoring & maintaining spare parts inventory.
